Exporting Cherries

Export Programs – China, Japan, European Union, United Kingdom, Korea, and Thailand

Information on how to register for the cherry export programs for the export of BC Cherries to the People’s Republic of China, Japan, Thailand, European Union, United Kingdom and Republic of Korea will be available in January each year. The information and the payment form will be sent out to the previous year’s participants.

2026 Cherry Export Programs – Deadline: March 15, 2026

Starting in 2026, Growers and Packing Facilities must register for the cherry export programs with the CFIA online through My CFIA. The registration window with the CFIA opens January 15th and closes on March 15th.

Growers must also be submit a Export Program Payment Form to the BC Cherry Association.  Don’t send your payment information to the CFIA! The payment form has been circulated to previous years’ participants via email.

The deadline register and pay for the export programs is Sunday, March 15, 2026. Failure to complete your registration, AND to submit full payment AND the payment form may result in your removal from export programs.

Any grower taking part in this program must attend one of the mandatory training sessions in April. Dates and times will be provided to growers signed up for this program closer to the meeting dates.
