Chunky Cherry Syrup
Ingredients
2 cups pitted cherries
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup + 1Tbsp water (keep separate)
1 Tbsp cornstarch
Instructions
- Add pitted cherries, 1/2 cup water, sugar to a pot, bring to a simmer
- Mix cornstarch and 1Tbsp water together
- Once cherry mixture is bubbling, stir in cornstarch slurry
- Stir on heat for about 1 minute
- Remove from heat, let cool slightly
- Serve over pancakes or waffles while hot or let cool and use on icecream
